When explaining my job I generally use words like, "provide emotional support, physical comfort and information". There's so much more than that. It is almost indescribable how we operate. Each and every birth is different. We are not there to take the place of partners nor take the spotlight. I wanted to share this video because it depicts the role of the doula very well.
