Oh Baby! We're Thankful!

This year we were sure a LOT to be thankful for. At the top of our list, of course, was Zea, followed by a close second, my AMAZING Husband Dearest, who's been so very supportive since the baby's birth.

This season of Thanksgiving brought new people into Zea's life. She met Tio Alex, HD's brother, who's been excited about her since we announced the pregnancy. And Tia Eri and Lalilo, her very thoughtful and creative aunts from California and Chicago. There was also Desta and Tiffany, Florida cousins that were itching to see Baby Zea.

We celebrated on the day with my folks at an intimate dinner with all the fixings and finished the day with a trip to the airport to pick up Alex. All day Friday instead of getting up early and standing in lines, we took it slow and spent time with my in-laws, allowing for Alex and Zea to get to know each other better.

Sabbath afternoon friends and family gathered together for Zea's dedication and to consecrate HD and me to raising Zea in God's path. Subsequently, they also committed themselves to support us and Zea in this endeavor. It was the perfect ceremony for us. We could not have asked for a more meaningful service. It was a fantastic ending to a celebratory weekend.
